Hi there! 

I’m Olga, a Russian-Canadian English Language instructor from the beautiful province of Alberta, famous for its cowboy and oil & gas culture, not to mention our gorgeous Rocky Mountains. Due to my husband’s work, I am living in Almaty now and will be happy to be your instructor. 

I’ve been teaching English to all categories of students in four different countries, including Canada and the U.S. I’ve taught in public school in the U.S. and Russia, in Canadian and American colleges and universities, as well as in private language schools in different countries.

My experience and expertise make me unique as there are very few specialists who have taught English in the North American educational institutions. 

I know Western Academia and the educational system as I studied and worked there for 19 years. Therefore, my classes, such as Academic English, IELTS, or TOEFL will be most instrumental for those students who want to study abroad.

I also teach Business English for inpiduals and corporations and General English  - starting with the Intermediate level. I prefer to make programs that address my clients’ specific needs and target their weak areas or skills. 

In addition, I offer skill-based courses such as Speaking/Listening/Vocabulary,/Reading/Writing/Grammar/Conversational English and so on. 

For those English teachers (or high-Inter/advanced speakers) who want to "stay in shape" language-wise, I also may suggest more hands-on conversational courses.

Whatever you need to fix, we will do it! 

I am so glad and lucky that I got an opportunity to learn from Olga. I can definitely say that her method of teaching is engaging, absorbing, effective, and different from all I have experienced before. Olga (as a teacher) has an incredible mixture: She knows English as a native speaker and teaches all nuances and important details of language application in real life. Olga also has "our" mentality (in that case, the way of acquiring languages) so she knows all struggles and difficulties we meet during learning process. And, what is also important for me, Olga has an inquisitive mind, so she constantly seeks new knowledge and shares it with her students. She is a really great teacher!
